Boogie Bill Roberts

Bill is a full time musician with many outlets for his craft - for example solo cocktail pianist, Piano Bar-style entertainer, band leader of jump-jive and swing band and music workshop leader. What is common to all is that Bill likes to connect with his audience and entertain people. This might be by playing cocktail jazz at the piano for a drinks reception, or getting a room rocking and feet tapping with his band The Billionaires.

As a live entertainer Bill works in many formats from solo, duo to 8 piece band and all points in between. This website covers the main musical projects that Bill works with, but please don't hesitate to ask if you have any specific requirements. If Bill is unable to fulfil these due to prior engagement or style differences he will be happy to point you in the direction of one of his many musical friends.

Piano Player
With a varied repertoire from Beatles to boogie woogie, to popular jazz standards, Bill can create a cocktail lounge sophistication or a lively piano bar buzz. Songs can be delivered with vocals where appropriate. Ceremonies and special requests catered for. Click through to solo page for videos and more detail.
The Billionaires
A fun and foot-tapping jump-jive band inspired by the classic sound and style of the swing and rat pack era. These guys can play it cool and mellow or up and at ‘em to get to get the party swinging. This ensemble can be offered as a trio or full band. See our great video on The Billionaires page of this site.
A professional set-up complete with light show and music tailored to meet your play list requirements. Delivered by Bill as an add-on to booking a live act.
Parties take many forms, large and small. There’s nothing quite like having live music at a house party - the duo and trio are perfect for this and have nestled comfortably in many a front room. Bill is also well used to entertaining different types of audiences, as diverse as an under 5’s music session and a sing-along for a 90th birthday.
